Firstly, at the reference section of paper titled "The role of stereotactic ablative radiotherapy for early-stage and oligometastatic non-small cell lung cancer: evidence for changing paradigms" published in volume 43, number 2, June 2011 page 75-82, reference number 10 was incorrect. It was printed as "Cheung PC, Yeung LT, Basrur V, Ung YC, Balogh J, Danjoux CE. Accelerated hypofractionation for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys. 2002;54:1014-23." It should be revised as follows: "Cheung PC, Mackillop WJ, Dixon P, Brundage MD, Youssef YM, Zhou S. Involved-field radiotherapy alone for early-stage non-small-cell lung cancer. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys. 2000;48:703-10."

Secondly, the first sentence, middle column ('Patient group/Clinical scenario') of Table 2 of the same paper is incorrect. It currently reads "Medically operable patients or medically operable patients who decline surgery." This is incorrect. The correct sentence is, "Medically inoperable patients or medically operable patients who decline surgery."

We apologize to readers for leading to confusion on the interpretation of the results.
