Abstract

The carcinoma arising from choledochal cyst is very rare tumor and only 63 cases have been reported in the World's literature till 1979. When diagnosis of cancer was made, it was usually found to spread widely, so its prognosis is paor. In Korea, Park et al." reported one case of adenocarcinoma arising from choledochal cyst at 1978. Recently we experienced a case of adenocarcinoma arising from the choledochal cpst in a 20 years old male. We confirmed the diagnosis during operation by frozen biopsy and performed pancreaticoduodenectomy.
